(Disney, 1954) A concept painting by Ralph Hammeras for “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.” The painting shows Captain Nemo’s mysterious island hideout, Vulcania, surrounded by ships. The art is attached to a page with a short caption. Measuring 6” x 15.5” on the 7.5” x 16.25” page, the painting accomplished in gouache on artist board is in very good condition, with tape residue and pinholes at the corners from production use.
